Terms and Conditions for Two Valleys Retreat

Thank you for choosing to book with Two Valleys Retreat, when you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

Prices and Payment:

The price includes accommodation plus any additional extras chosen at the time of booking. We accept the following forms of payment: Stripe Credit, Stripe is a third party secure payment processor and a deposit of 25% will be taken at the time of booking, the balance remaining will be debited from your credit or debit card approximately 8 weeks before your stay. For direct bookings, BACS payment can be made.

If your card is due to expire ahead of your final payment being taken, please contact us to arrange alternative payment.
If the final payment is not paid by the due date, Two Valleys Retreat reserves the right to retain your deposit and re-let the accommodation.
If we do not receive payment of deposit, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. Booking confirmation will be sent upon payment of deposit & should be checked immediately for any errors. Your booking is only confirmed once you have received your confirmation email.

We do not accept bookings for groups under the age of 18.

Family groups – an adult must be present at all times in each safari tent- ie Children must be supervised & may not sleep in the tents without an adult.

Dogs are welcome on our site – dogs must not be left unsupervised in the tents. All dog mess must be picked up and disposed of.

Cancellations and Insurance

Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation/holiday insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker. Once full payment has been made, you will not qualify for a refund if you wish to cancel your booking. We will endeavour to find or move your dates. Extra charges may apply due to increased seasonal pricing.

In the unlikely event of a force majeure on our part, including fire, hurricane or any other disruption or event, and we need to cancel your booking we will of course refund any monies paid if we cannot transfer your booking.

Covid

If either the guest or Two Valleys Retreat enters a lockdown, Two Valleys Retreat will happily move the guests booking to later in the year.

If you, or a member of your party, has tested positive for Coronavirus and has to self-isolate, please follow the Government advice. If your booking is affected, you will be required to provide us with the positive PCR test result with the guest’s name. Once this is received, we will be able to offer you a date change. Please email us with dated confirmation of a positive test.

We ask that you inform us of any cancellations at your earliest opportunity so that we can try and fill the dates. Two Valleys retreat cannot process a refund but we will endeavour to find alternative dates.

We heavily advise that you take out holiday insurance which will cover you in the event that you need to cancel.

We do hope you support us in these decisions.

Non Availability

Two Valleys Retreat reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking, without a statement of reasons at any time.
In unexceptional circumstances, and if cancelling your booking for reasons beyond our control, we would offer you alternative accommodation or an alternative date.

Arrival

Check in is from 4pm on the day of arrival. We offer self-check in or “meet your host”. We will try to be available for most check ins but if the time is too late this might not always be available. If this is the case, we will visit the following day.

On occasions, it may be possible to arrange for an earlier arrival, please contact us to find out.

Departure

Check out time is 11 am on the day of departure. Please ensure you do not go over this time.

Damages/ Breakages

Please take care when staying at our retreat. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repairs if the damage or breakage is significant. We may also make an additional charge of £50 if you did not report any significant breakages/damage to the Safari Tents.

No Smoking/ Burning of wood

In line with Two Valleys Retreats policy, burning of wood is only allowed in the woodburners & firepits supplied and expressly prohibited anywhere else onsite due to risk of sparks & to preserve the surrounding woodland. Please do not leave fires unattended at any time. A provision of logs will be supplied on arrival & further supplies are available to purchase. The Fire pit must not be moved closer to the Safari tents. The fire pit has been located far enough away as to not cause any damage. If the Fire pit is moved, we reserve the right to cancel your booking immediately. If major damage is cause to the Safari tents you will be liable, and an invoice will be sent to cover repair costs.

There is a strict NO SMOKING POLICY inside all the accommodation, and anyone smoking on the site is responsible for disposing of their cigarette butts in a bin and not littering.

Liability

The woodland is a natural, wild area, by making a booking with us you accept that we cannot be held liable for any accident or injury sustained during your stay. Two Valleys Retreat accepts no responsibility for accident, loss, theft or damage to personal property, and guests are asked to take care on site throughout the duration of their stay. You must ensure you have read and understood all instructions provided via our digital guide before using the equipment. Two Valleys Retreat cannot be held liable for any injury sustained whilst using equipment incorrectly or inappropriately. Children must be accompanied at all times while using the hot tub, Two Valleys Retreat accepts no responsibility for any injury or accident by or in the hot tub and all guests use at their own risk.

Authority to sign

The person who accepts the terms and conditions on the booking form certifies that:

He/She is authorised and has full legal capacity to agree the Terms & Conditions on behalf of all persons in the party and is over 18 years of age. They have read and fully understood the contract and agree to adhere to the policies enclosed. They agree and are happy to take responsibility for the party occupying the accommodation. Complaints

In the event that you have any complaint about your stay, please notify Two Valleys Retreat immediately and we will make every reasonable effort to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

The Contract and any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with, it, its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales.
