Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing to book with Two Valleys Retreat. When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
The price includes accommodation plus any additional extras chosen at the time of booking. We accept the following forms of payment: Stripe Credit or Debit Card Payment, Stripe is a third party secure payment processor and a deposit of 25% will be taken at the time of booking, the balance remaining will be debited to your credit or debit card approximately 8 weeks before your stay. If a booking is made less than eight weeks before the holiday is due to start, the full rent, plus any additional charges, must be paid at the time of booking. Once the fund have cleared you will be sent a booking confirmation via email within 48 hours.
Logs, sticks and campfire wood
We provide a full wood store of split seasoned logs for the wood burner and hot tub. Any wood required after this will be chargeable. £5 per bag and £3 for a large bag of kindling. Instructions on how to light the fires will be provided.
General Safety/ Responsibility for children
Each Safari tent has carbon monoxide detector and a fire extinguisher. There are two exits at the front and back of the tents. All properties are non smoking and we ask that this includes the decked area around the tent .

Two well behaved dogs are to stay. Charged at £10 per dog. Dogs are not permitted on Furniture. Please don’t leave the dogs alone in the tents during the day, as it can be very stressful for them and could cause damage which you would be liable for. All dogs must be kept on leads if there is Live Stock in the field.
Any damages must be reported as soon as possible. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repairs if the damage or breakage is significant.
Please ensure all dog mess is cleaned up and put in the appropriate bin.
Check in is at 4pm on Day of Arrival, please let us know what time you expect to arrive, this way we can ensure the hot tub is ready for you to use straight away.
Check out time is 11 am on the day of departure
Additional day guests are welcome at Two Valleys Retreat. Please inform us if you are having guests for the day to help us comply with fire safety.
Day guests are not permitted to stay in the Safari Tent. There is room for extra guests to stay on site. They must provide their own tents. This will be chargeable. If this is something you would like to add, please ring/ email to discuss when booking.
Cancellation and Insurance:
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any monies you may have paid are non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. If you would like to rearrange the date of your stay we will try our best to accommodate this. If we are unable to find a alternate date the booking will be cancelled.
For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker. Once full payment has been made, you will not qualify for a refund if you wish to cancel your booking.
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Damages and Breakages:
Please take care when staying at our Safari Tent. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repairs if the damage or breakage is significant. We may also make an additional charge of £50 if you did not report any significant breakages/damages.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
